the glass nest

the art gallery

I'm greatly inspired by art, history and nature. I have a particular love of the Arts & Crafts movement and enjoy using similar principles, such as natural forms, medieval motifs and a celebration of glass as a material, in my own personal projects. I find that my printmaking and work in glass often feed into each other, I enjoy the graphic nature of both. My current printmkaing is deeply influenced by new work in glass: I enjoy reimagining historic glass as lino-prints. (scans of these incoming here!)
